Nothing beats a good old crochet granny square! It is so versatile and can be made in all the colours of the yarn rainbow, especially when using Paintbox Yarns!! This isn’t exactly a tutorial but i wanted to write a blog post for this project because i ALWAYS get asked what Paintbox colours i use and it’s easier to list them here. Another question i’m often asked is how i make my granny squares? This is a great question because i don’t always use the same formula. Scroll down to see the chart for this granny square – 3 chains at the corners and one in the space along the sides. I’m going to add more granny formulas down the track because sometimes i like more compact squares and i will eliminate chains. More on that down the track. 🙂
Okay, the details for the yarn i used are as follows – Paintbox Cotton Aran in colours: Paper White, Mustard Yellow, Blush Pink, Peach Orange, Washed Teal, Daffodil Yellow, Bubblegum Pink, Stormy Grey and Tea Rose.
