I’m really excited to share my latest book review, “Round and Round the Crochet Hook” – by Emily Littlefair, published by Tuva Publishing. Inside you will find patterns to inspire and admire, all of which are made in a round. I personally love working in the round, so i felt connected instantly to the beautiful patterns inside.
Emily is a truely talented crocheter with an eye for beautiful colour combinations. I am not ashamed to admit that i won’t look twice at a design if the colours don’t move me. Emily’s colour choices are different from my own colour style, but they are inspiring and have given me a subtle push to experiement a little more with my own colour combinations.
Her book is my absolute favourite from all my reviews so far this year. There are 19 designs to choose from, whether you want a quick make or something more complicated. I have started her Garden Rows Cushion (see above and directly below) and it has been a dream to create so far.
And all designs are accompanied by well written instructions and charts. Hooray! Check out some of the wonderful projects below. Here are some links so you can stalk Emily online! 😉

It was an honour and a thrill to be involved in lovecrochet.com’s Indie June, a month long celebration of independent crochet designers. I was able to share the love of our #craftastherapy community during an interview, which you can read in full here.
I also participated in #lctakeover where i took control of the Lovecrochet.com instagram account for a day. These are some of the images i shared during the takeover. Head to the lovecrochet.com instagram account to see more of what happened during Indie June. Thanks for having me LoveCrochet.com
