A big thank you to Jane, aka @queen_babs who moderated @craftastherapy last week. She did a brilliant job choosing features from the #craftastherapy feed and sharing her words of wisdom. Jane suffers from a chronic condition called fibromyalgia, so she understands completely that craft can act as a successful form of therapy. In fact, she moderated the @craftastherapy handle during a week where she was quite ill. During her week we reached 500 followers and over 4000 images in the #craftastherapy feed. Well done Jane! Here are her features for the week –
I am super excited to announce that #craftastherapy is heading in a new direction over on Instagram. There are many crafters now using the hashtag and it has grown beyond my expectations. It is definitely time to take it to the next level. I created the @craftastherapy Instagram handle a while ago just in case i ever needed it. I am so glad i did! With #craftastherapy images nudging 4000 (how exciting!) i’ve activated the account and invited some gorgoeus and kindhearted IG users to join me in moderating and running the @craftastherapy feed. Yay!
Over the upcoming weeks each moderator will take over the account and choose features and inspirational words to share. First up is the fabulous @queen_babs, Jane from Sydney. She’s been doing a great job so far and i look forward to sharing her features with you next week. If you’re keen to be involved, it is really simple to join in. Does craft make you happy? Relieve stress? Distract you from illness? Then tag your IG images with #craftastherapy.
Until next week, please enjoy these gorgeous feature grids that grace the feed of @craftastherapy.
