{Crochet} Christmas Stars FREE

christmas craftCrochet stars are the perfect quick crochet make for Christmas. They can be used for present toppers, ornaments, garlands and more. This FREE star pattern has only 3 rounds which means they literally take minutes to make. I’ve used my favourite Cotton Aran, which is from Paintbox Yarns. If you’d like to use the same colours they are called – Mustard Yellow, Blush Pink, Spearmint Green and Bubblegum Pink. The main tutorial is written in UK terms, but if you scroll to the end you’ll find US instructions. Tag your stars #crochetflowerstars on social media. I’d love to see them! :)

Crochet Star Garland

easy crochet starsI found a really easy tutorial for crochet stars on a blog called Jelly Wares. It’s a gorgeous blog and after losing half an hour looking at all the pretty images, i decided to give the crochet stars a whirl! easy crochet starsThe tutorial is brilliant! Nice clear images and instructions, which are perfect for a beginner like me. I was surprised to find myself with a completed yellow star after 30mins (I’m slow, still learning).
crocheted star garlandI was so chuffed with my first star! It wasn’t too dodgy looking at all! Yay! And now it’s official that i am hooked….addicted. #crochetaddict #starcrochet #ilovecrochet #yarnlover #hookedoncrochet #icantstop
