  • Pink
  • White
  • or colors of choice
  • Stitch markers
  • Scissors
  • Sewing needle
  • Hook number 2.5
  • Fiberfill

Abbreviations

  • mr – magic ring
  • sc – single crochet in US (double crochet in UK)
  • inc – increase (2 single crochet in one stitch)
  • slst – slip stitch
  • ch – chain
  • dec – decrease

Candy

Use pink color yarn or color of choice.

  • 1. 6sc in mr (6)
  • 2. inc x 6 (12)
  • 3. ‘1sc, inc’ x 6 (18)
  • 4. ‘2sc, inc’ x 6 (24)
  • 5. ‘3sc, inc’ x 6 (30)
  • 6. – 10. sc around (30)
  • 11. ‘3sc, dec’ x 6 (24)
  • 12. ‘2sc, dec’ x 6 (18)

Start filling the candy and addm ore as you go along.

Fasten off, weave in the ends.

Make the sides x 2

Use pink color yarn or color of choice. Leave long tail before you make the mr, it will be used to sew the sides to the candy.

  • 1. 6sc in mr (6)
  • 2. inc x 6 (12)
  • 3. ‘1sc, inc’ x 6 (18)
  • 4. sc around (18)
  • 5. ‘2sc, inc’ x 6 (24)
  • 6. ‘sc, inc’ x 6 (30) – optional: use white color yarn for this row
  • Fasten off, weave in the ends.

Using the tail from the mr, sew the sides to the candy on R1 and R14.

  • If you want to make it with 2 colors – alternate between the colors every row, ending with ‘slst, ch1’.
